PERMARIN UA-300 has the following features: ·
- Forms a strong and elastic film on the surface of cotton and synthetic fabrics, and imparts high resiliency.
- The resulting film of this product is resistant to washing and dry cleaning through coating and drying at ambient temperature (20±15 °C) as a binder for pigment printing or for other various functional additives.
- The resulting film exhibits excellent weather resistance and hydrolysis resistance because this product is a polycarbonate-type polyurethane emulsion with an organic isocyanate component of a non-yellowing type.

- Application Methods
1. As a Binder for Pigment Printing
- Preparation Method of Printing Paste
- Add pigment and half-emulsion paste (when softness is desired) to PERMARIN UA-300, and then add 0.5 - 5 wt % thickeners, such as a natural sizing agent, a chemically modified starch or a polycarboxylic acid-type sizing agent. If the printing paste tends to dry too fast, add a 2 - 5 wt % moisturizer such as ethylene glycol.
- Recommended Concentration
- According to the desired tactile property and shade, dilute the printing paste with half-emulsion paste to achieve the required concentration.
- Printing Method
- Print fabric using a printing machine such as a screen printing machine or a roller printing machine. And then, naturally dry the printed fabric or dry using a dehydrator with a pin tenter, etc.
2. As a Binder for Finishing Agents
- Dilution Method
- Dilute PERMARIN UA-300 directly with water to achieve the required concentration
- Recommended Concentration
- The concentration to be applied depends on the kind of fabric and the desired tactile property, however, the standard concentration is shown below. Padding method: 5 - 50 g/L.
- If a bath containing PERMARIN UA-300 tends to dry too fast, add a 2 - 5 g/L moisturizer such as ethylene glycol to the bath.
