UCOPOL M 551 in combination with reactive polyols can be used for the formulation of polyurethane self leveling coatings for concrete surfaces, such as
coatings for terraces, where flexibility performances are required. UCOPOL M 551 has good compatibility with esters, esters of glicolethers and aromatics. Alcohols cannot be used because they react with UCOPOL M 551.
It is recommended to use always urethane grade solvents ( < 0.05% water). It can be mixed with UCOPOL M 541 in order to get performances such as flexibility and fast drying.

- Storage and Shelf Life
In sealed drums we guarantee a storage life of six months, provided UCOPOL M 551 is stored under dry and cool condition. Once opened, the drums should be used in short time, because UCOPOL M 551 is sensitive to moisture that can cause the curing of the product inside the drum.
