MARLOWET ether carboxylic acids are low foaming anionic surfactants. They are based on alcohols from C9 to C18, with different alkoxylation degrees. The MARLOWET product range is a water soluble lubricant efficient in hard water and active at extreme pH. It can be used in various applications including as a corrosion inhibitor (organic anti-corrosion agent), wetting agent, defoamer, hydrophilic emulsifier for water based metalworking fluids and exhibits high lime soap dispersing properties.

NOVEL Ethoxylates, nonionic surfactants, can be used in a variety of household and industrial cleaning applications. These unique surfactants will maximize your cleaning formulations with its fast cleaning kinetics and high performance characteristics. This product range is characterized by the following useful properties: high detergency and surface activity, good hard water stability, synergistic effects with other surfactants, favorable environmental characteristics, favorable emulsifying power, chemical stability over a wide pH range and user friendly viscosity and storage behavior. These characteristics make these products an ideal raw material building block for washing powder, detergent tablets, liquid detergents, detergency boosters, all-purpose cleaners, bathroom cleaners, floor cleaners, dishwashing detergents, vehicle cleaners and other defoamer and emulsifier applications.

EMULDAC AS-25 is widely used as dispersing agent in industrial applications, in particular in polyester dyeing processes and emulsion polymerizations. EMULDAC AS-25 is suitable for detergent applications in automatic dishwashing tablets and toilet rim blocks. EMULDAC AS-25 is also suitable for personal care applications as O/W emulsifier in a broad range of pH and as dispersant for “hair-dyeing” formulations.

SASOL's NACOL pure cut alcohol portfolio are derived from petrochemical or oleochemical feedstock. The products are even-numbered and primary alcohols.

ISOCARB acids are derived from Sasol’s proprietary Guerbet alcohols, available with even numbered carbon chain lengths of 12, 16, 24 and 32. ISOCARB acids comprise excellent corrosion inhibitor for the metalworking fluids. They also improve the formulation stability for metalworking fluids, both for semi-synthetic and fully synthetic and may be neutralized to the salt using widely available amines.
