Sasol North America Inc.'s NOVEL 10-4 Alcohol Ethoxylate is a biodegradable nonionic derived from linear primary ALFOL 10 Alcohol. This 4-mole Ethoxylate is made using Sasol North America Inc.'s patented NOVEL catalyst technology. This yields narrow range or peaked Ethoxylates that have lower free alcohol, PEG levels, and melting ranges when compared to the traditional base-catalyzed Ethoxylates. It is essentially 100% active and has the following structural formula: CH3(CH2)8CH2(OCH2CH2)xOH where 'x' is 4.
