SCIGRIP® SG5000-13 Methacrylate Adhesives are high strength two-component products for bonding metals2 , plastics1 and composites. They offer a unique combination of convenient 1:1 mix ratio and ability to adhere to a wide variety of materials. Most metals, including steel and aluminum, can be bonded without surface pretreatment. A choice of 3, 6 and 15 minute working times, fast cure and rapid strength build make this series of adhesives an ideal first choice for diverse bonding applications. SCIGRIP® SG7706 is a two-part methacrylate, structural rodding and clip bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of sink clips, steel and fiberglass rodding materials, and steel and aluminum to solid surface (acrylic and polyester), engineered stone, quartz surfaces, and natural stone products. Combined at a ratio of 1:1, SG7706 has a working time of 4 to 8 minutes and achieves nearly 90 percent of its ultimate strength in 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature curing. SG7706 provides high strength bonds to acrylic solid surface, polyester solid surface (both filled and unfilled), and solid surface (combinations of both acrylic and polyester solid surface resins) and the steel clips, rods, fiberglass and other materials. SG7706 has high strength bonds to carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloys. SG7706 is not UV stable, and will yellow over time and must not be used to create imperceptible seams in countertops. However, this yellowing will not affect bond performance, but will affect bond appearance. SG7706 is available in 50 ml and 400 ml cartridges.

SCIGRIP® SG100-15 is a two-component, 10:1 mix ratio product for bonding thermoplastics, metals, composites and combinations thereof. These bright white, UV resistant products are particularly well suited in color critical applications without compromising physical properties. Minimal surface preparation1, 2 combined with a choice of 15 and 40 minute working times, provide reduced labor and production cycle time. Packaging options include 490 ml cartridges and 5 and 50 gallon (19 and 189 liters) in bulk containers for application with meter-mix dispense equipment.
