Pearl OX™ 22%

1 of 1 products in this brand
Pearl OX™ 22% is an FDA registered peroxyacetic acid-based sanitizer and disintectant. The active ingredients in Pearl OX are Peracetic Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide. Peracetic acid (PAA) sanitizer was developed in Europe years ago and is now used throughout the world. It is environmentally compatible and considered to be non-polluting. A 99.999% microbial kill is achieved at a normal use rate at 80 ppm with a contact time of one (1) minute. Upon degradation, PAA breaks down to water, oxygen and vinegar (acetic acid). It is virtually odor tree at end use concentrations and there are no known hazardous or toxic by-products associated with its use. Unlike chlorine, Pearl OX™ 22%, with the active ingredient of PAA, does not contain halogens. Its non-corrosive characteristics also allow tor greater contact time and compatibility with stainless steel or processing equipment. Pearl OX™ 22% is not considered to be pH sensitive and functions very well under cold conditions near 4 degrees C. It does not lose its activity and can be used with short contact times as well.
