In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used, among other things, in the manufacture of vitamins, sleeping aids and sedatives. Acetaldehyde is also often used as a base when producing acetic acid, which is also a basic chemical with many uses.

Typical examples are various plastic products, PET packaging, adhesives, shampoos, paints, solvents and medicines.

SEKAB Biofuels & Chemicals Ethanol is a name given to high concentration ethanol, usually 95% or 99%, which can be provided with or without different denaturations. Technical ethanol has many uses and is commonly found in the production of, among other things, food, paints and antiseptic products and as an ingredient in environmentally friendly solvents.
