Sentury Reagents was founded in 1974 by Jon C. Ellis, Sr. Mr. Ellis built the company to be the world's largest producer of high purity chrome salts. The company is now owned and operated by his sons, Jon Ellis, Jr and Rob Ellis. Their goal has been to diversify the business while still growing in the area of high purity chrome salts. Sentury Reagents' current production facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina was completed in 1989 and has a wide range of production capabilities. In addition to our high purity chromium salts, our products include magnesium chemicals, potassium chemicals and various organics. We have the capability to produce chemicals with impurities in the part per billion range to meet some customers' requirements. Our business is built upon providing customers with chemicals packaged to maximize their profitability. We have over 30,000 gallons of glass and stainless reactor capacity.
