    Soybean Extract Powder Benefits

    a. Estrogen-like Activity

    Soy isoflavones can play estrogen-like or resist endogenous estrogen in the body, and can regulate estrogen receptors. Soy isoflavones can improve perimenopausal syndrome. Menopausal women taking soybean or soybean extract daily for more than 3 months, it can effectively reduce the frequency of hot flashes and significantly improve perimenopausal symptoms.

    b. Antioxidant Effect

    The antioxidant effect of soybean isoflavones is mainly manifested in inhibiting the production of oxygen free radicals, inhibiting the production of hydrogen peroxide, reducing DNA oxidative damage and inhibiting lipid peroxidation.

    c. Improve Postmenopausal Osteoporosis.

    Soy isoflavones or metabolites show weak estrogen effects in postmenopausal women. It binds to estrogen receptors in osteoblasts, strengthen the activity of osteoblasts, promote the production, secretion and bone mineralization process of bone matrix, thereby improving Osteoporosis.

    d. Reduce the Risk of Breast Cancer.

    Soy isoflavones may reduce the risk of breast cancer by increasing the metabolism of estrogen to the anti-cancer product 2-hydroxyestrone. It can also inhibit the occurrence and development of cancer by anti-oxidation, promoting cell apoptosis, and inhibiting cell proliferation.

    e. Impact On The Cardiovascular System.

    The level of estrogen in postmenopausal women declines, leading to abnormal metabolism of fat and cholesterol and elevated blood lipids and cholesterol, leading to an increased incidence of cardiovascular disease. Soy isoflavones can prevent cardiovascular diseases through estrogen-like effects.

    Soybean Extract Powder Dosage

    a) How to take soy isoflavones?

    Generally speaking, although there are many brands of soy isoflavones on the market, most of them are tablet and capsule.

    The usage and dosage are different for different types. Among them, the usage of tablet soy isoflavones is relatively simple. You only need to take it every day. Take two tablets at a time, and soy isoflavone capsules only need to be taken once a day, taking 50mg at a time. Different populations take different doses of soy isoflavones. In addition, according to the understanding of female ovarian function decline, the dosage of soy isoflavones is also different for people of different age groups. Women around 35 years old can start taking soy isoflavones. Small doses are available before the age of 40. During 41-50 years old sufficient dose should be used. Large doses are needed after 50 years of age and the dose will be larger for women with symptoms of menopause.

    Methods of taking soy isoflavones in different groups

    • Women over 40 years old without symptoms of menopause: take 50mg a day, intermittently;
    • Women over 50 years old without symptoms of menopause: take 50-100mg per day, continuously;
    • Women 35-40 years old with menopausal symptoms: 50mg per day for 2-3 months after the disappearance of menopausal symptoms;
    • Women 40-50 years old with menopausal symptoms: 100mg per day, after menopausal symptoms, reduce the dose to 50mg per day, and then take 2-3 months;
    • Women over 50 years of age with symptoms of menopause: 100mg per day, after menopause symptoms, reduce the dose to 100mg per day, and take it for 2-3 months;

    In addition, if soy isoflavones are used in the treatment of certain diseases, such as breast cancer, endometrial cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer, and leukemia, the amount of soy isoflavones taken by patients will be different and according to the health condition of each patient, even if the same disease is treated, the dose of soy isoflavones taken by the patient is not the same.

    Tips:
    Regardless of whether you are using soy isoflavones for health care or treatment of diseases, it is best to consult a relevant doctor first, and determine the correct way to take the drug under the doctor’s advice and guidance, and avoid taking it blindly. Safety & Health

    Soybean Extract Powder Side Effects

    As part of the soybean diet, soy isoflavones have been consumed by humans for many years and have high safety, but possible side effects or adverse reactions include gastrointestinal discomfort and nausea. Severe allergies to soy-related products are rare. However, if you experience any possible symptoms after eating, including: skin rash, itching/swelling (especially on the face, tongue, and throat), severe dizziness, and breathing difficulty, please seek medical assistance immediately.

    Safety precautions (eight use taboo)

    a. A study for the elderly found that a daily intake of 100 mg of soy isoflavones for 6 months showed good tolerance.

    b. In vitro and animal studies have pointed out that for subjects with insufficient thyroid function or insufficient iodine intake, the intake of legumes may increase the risk of clinical hypothyroidism.

    c. Do not use for pregnant women or breastfeeding women (because the relevant safety is unknown)

    d. Although studies have shown that soy isoflavones can reduce breast cancer events and recurrence rates, women with a history of breast cancer, especially estrogen receptor positive (ER+) breast cancer patients, are best not to increase phytoestrogens taking, including soy isoflavones.

    e. Although some studies have concluded that long-term high-dose soy isoflavones may stimulate endometrial hyperplasia, and endometrial hyperplasia may be related to endometrial cancer, this argument is still unproven.

    f. People who have been allergic to soy products should not use it. Allergic reactions may occur.

    g. Since isoflavone metabolism is related to intestinal bacteria, antibiotic treatment may reduce the bioavailability of isoflavones.

    h. Do not use in combination with selective estrogen receptor modulators such as tamoxifen (an animal study found that high doses of soy isoflavones may interfere with the action of the drug).

    Soybean Extract Powder Safety

    The US FDA recognizes soy isoflavones. In 1999, the US FDA officially approved soy isoflavones as food to improve estrogen levels, and publicly published documents stating that soy isoflavones as a phytoestrogens supplement are very safe.
