SIDRA Wasserchemie Bitterfeld GmbH was founded in 1991. The commissioning of the new production facility there in 1992 ensured the supply of the new federal states with SIDRA products. The previously independent companies SIDRA Wasserchemie GmbH in Ibbenbüren and SIDRA Wasserchemie Bitterfeld GmbH were combined in 2018 to form SIDRA Wasserchemie GmbH based in Ibbenbüren.
