After the extension of the product portfolio to Technical Compounds, the re-orientation of the fiber business to technical application and the introduction of short-spinning fiber technology using postconsumer PET – flakes as raw material the name Silon always stood for quality, safety and reliability.
Today, Silon designs, produces and sells polyolefin-based performance compounds and polyester fibers for applications in construction, the automotive industry, for hygienic and medical applications, as well as for general industrial applications.
Silon also offers industrial park services in Plana nad Luznici through its subsidiary company.

TABOCAB® CM 010

TABOREX® TA 1108 HD is a crosslinkable compound made by Silane grafted ethylene polymer. This graft polymer constitutes together with a TABOREX® Masterbatch containing the crosslinking catalyst a “SIOPLAS-SYSTEM”. Pipes which are produced with the SILON grade TABOREX® TA 1108 HD fulfill the requirements of ASTM F876, CSA 137.5, EN ISO 15875, BS 7291, NSF/ANSI 14, NSF/ANSI 61 and all related standards. This system allows the compound to be extruded as a normal thermoplastic polymer and will attain a high level of crosslinking in the processed form. The final product provides all the superior properties associated with crosslinked polyethylene.

TABOREX® TA 1108 HD

TABOREN-PH 52 G 20-094 is a compound based on polypropylene homopolymer, filled with 20% of short glass fibers and stabilized with a basic additive package. It is desinged for injection molding technology and used in automotive applications without high demands on performance under enhanced temperatures. The grade is available in standard black color.

TABOREN PH 49 G 30-045 is a compound based on polypropylene homopolymer, filled with 30% of short glass fibers and stabilized with a high AOX additive package. It is designed for injection molding technology and used in automotive applications requiring outstanding performance under enhanced tempeartures. The grade is available in standard black color.

The HFFR compound product range is a group of thermoplastic, halogen-free flame retardant, low-smoke and non-toxic compounds based on polyolefins and mineral fillers. These compounds are used to produce cable insulation and sheathing. These compounds are developed to be easy to process and for optimally high productivity. The individual compounds are designed depending on the type of end cable application so that these retain their thermo-mechanical properties and a high level of fire retardancy, and therefore provide a solution with greater protection of people and property in case of fire.

The HFFR-XL compound product range is a group of thermosetting, halogen-free flame retardant, low-smoke and non-toxic compounds based on polyolefins and mineral fillers, which can be crosslinked using heat or moisture. A catalyst masterbatch is added during the final extrusion together with the main compound (SIOPLAS method). These products are suitable for producing cross-linked insulation or sheathing.
