Silsurf CR 1115 is used to reduce surface tension and as an emulsifier and wetting agent in various personal care formulations. It is also suitable for various chemical formulations that required wetting, surface tension reduction and heat stability.
Personal Care Application:
- Emulsification: Good O/W emulsifier
- Shampoo: soft, silky feel, combing ease, no traditional oily build-up
- Hair spray/styling: luster, reduces tack and stickiness, better hold
- Skin creams: humectants, emollient, lubricity
- Shaving creams: emolliency, wetting, foam stability
- Cleanser: soft, silky feel, low irritation
Industrial Uses:
- Textile: additive in fiber spin-finish, texturizing oil, knitting oil, warp sizing
- Automotive & household products: shine, compatible with water based systems.
