Key Attributes: Silsurf®Di-2012 is also effective in foaming various alcohols, such as ethanol and isopropanol. For this reason it is incorporated into alcohol based foaming hand sanitizers, where it also provides ancillary benefits such as moisturizing, emollience, lubrication and gives a less dry or tacky feel.

Due to its hydroxyl functionality, Silsurf®Di-2012 can be co-reacted with organic epoxides, isocyanates, esters etc. to modify polymeric systems. In these systems it provides the typical benefits of silicones that include slip, mar resistance, anti-blocking, softness and improved temperature stability of the finish polymer.
