Silube J208-812 is a water insoluble silicone surfactant. The presence of a fatty acid
attached to a long chain silicone copolymer in Silube J208-812 provides excellent lubricity and release properties in any water-based application. The balance of alkyl groups and polyethers on the same silicone backbone makes Silube J208-812 an excellent water-in-oil emulsifier.
The approximate HLB of Silube J208-812(calculated) is 2.0.
The recommended concentration used is between 1.0-5.0% weight percent of the total
formulation.
