The Simalfa line of water based adhesives is designed for bonding foams, fabrics, and virtually any porous substrates. The goals of Simalfa are to offer solutions that are friendly to our environment and to the people who use them, while providing the necessary performance characteristics that positively impact quality and profitability for our customers. To reach these goals, it is our belief that products must be developed to meet the particular applications of each industry. So, although one could assume there are a great deal of similarities among the Simalfa products, it should be understood that all have a designed purpose. Simalfa® 301

SIMALFA 301 is a solvent-free, pressure-sensitive water-based adhesive used for the bonding of foams, upholstery materials, and more. The adhesive has an excellent wet sticking property (instant bond) and high flexibility as well as outstanding heat resistance. The adhesive, depending on the application, is applied to one or both sides using a high volume low-pressure spray gun (HVLP).

SIMALFA 308-FR / 3095 is one-part water-based adhesive designed specifically for the aerospace industry where specialty flame retardant products are required. This adhesive is engineered to meet the requirements of FAA 14 CFR 25.853 (a) appendix F Part 1, (a 1 )Ci).

SIMALFA 315-OF allows for instant bonding and Overspray Free application. While all SIMALFA products can be sprayed with no overspray, there are many operators and equipment-related variables that can potentially cause overspray. Simalta 315-OF is chemically engineered to eliminate those variables. Our "OF" technology creates a web-like spray pattern that prevents adhesive particles from going airborne and creates a "cloud, insuring a clean, sate, and waste-free environment.
