SMA’RT Guard C8G is derived from Caprylic Acid and Glycerine, which is well-known and commonly used for its moisturizing and bacterial efficacy properties. SMA’RT Guard C8G offers skin protection and regulation by restoring the acid layer of skin, thus promoting the skin’s microecosystem to quickly reach a balanced state. The key enzyme of sebum synthesis, -5 alpha-reductase, is inhibited and results in a reduction of sebum secretion. It also improves skin condition by inhibiting the growth of P. Acnes and Pityrosporum orbiculare, hence its popularity in acne and dandruff products. SMA’RT Guard C8G enhances the effectiveness of preservatives. Reducing the quantity of preservative is ideal for sensitive skin and reduced irritation. It is effective in deodorants by inhibiting the growth of bacteria that contribute to body odor.
