Sobigel Cosmetic Agar

Sobigel Pharmaceutical Agar is a polysaccharide obtained from marine seaweed of the class Rhodophyceae, by an extraction process that results in a fine and homogeneous powder. Agar is used in the pharmaceutical industry for many applications such as suspending agent for Barium Sulfate Radiology, intestine regulation, surgical lubricants and in preparations of emulsions, suspensions, capsules, etc. The continuous controls that are carried out to pharmaceutical agar guarantee the product’s excellent quality.

Sobigel Dietary Agar is rich in soluble fiber (85%) and minerals (calcium, magnesium and iron), so it helps regulating intestinal flow, controlling cholesterol and sugar levels and preventing overweight.
