AEROGLAZE is a range of coatings created by LORD Corporation, acquired by the SOCOMORE Group in 2016. AEROGLAZE products are very high performance polyurethane or elastomer primers and coatings, suitable for various metal, aluminum and composite substrates. Aeroglaze products are mainly used in aeronautics and aerospace, for both civil and military applications: anti-corrosion primer, conductive coating or for space applications. Aeroglaze products are qualified by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Department of the Navy, and are also approved by the main aircraft and engine OEMs including Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Pratt &amp; Whitney.

PreKote is a surface pretreatment product range created by Pantheon Chemicals in US. SOCOMORE has an exclusive license for the aeronautics industry. PreKote replaces both chromate and non-chromate conversion coating systems. It replaces acid etches, solvent washes, and other toxic substances used on metal and composite substrates prior to priming and painting. PreKote is also an adhesion promoter for metal to metal bonding.

SOCOGEL range consists of sol-gel coatings used in surface preparation before painting or bonding. They are adhesion promoters for primers and paints on metals (aluminum, titanium, stainless steels), plastics, composites substrates, anti-corrosion properties, anti erosion properties, decorative effects on glass, anti-scratch, hydrophobic, etc. SOCOGEL products, based on patented technologies, are alternatives to chromated or toxic conversion products since they do not contain chromate or carcinogenic compounds (CMR). Moreover, it does not require rinsing or effluent treatment, which can generate productivity gains. SOCOGEL products are approved by aeronautical manufacturers (OEM) such as BOEING, DASSAULT AVIATION, COMAC, GENERAL ELECTRIC, etc. and are used by both manufacturers and maintenance operators (MRO).

SOCOGEL

CHEMGLAZE is a range of coatings created by LORD Corporation, acquired by the SOCOMORE Group in 2016. CHEMGLAZE products are coatings suitable for various metal and plastic substrates (including PVC) whether they are rigid or semi-rigid. This is why the range contains both hygro-curing aliphatic polyurethane coatings and elastomeric coatings. Chemglaze products are mainly used in the aeronautical industry to protect the leading edges of fixed and rotary wing aircraft against abrasion, erosion and minor impact damage.

AEROGLAZE 9929A GAL W/EARS is a two-component epoxy primer designed for priming metal substrates. Contains hexavalent chromium. Requires 9929B curative and AEROGLAZE 9953 thinner.
