Solvay's Jaguar series of native, cationic and hydroxypropyl modified natural guar polymers provide hair & body care formulators with a full range of conditioning and texturizing features. It offers superior performance from a natural, renewable resource. With its numerous reactive –OH functional groups, the galactomannan can be reacted with different molecules to provide controlled modifying, and functional properties that create new molecules.

The Solvay Aerosol® range of specialty surfactants is designed to improve performance in waterborne latex systems designed for waterborne architectural and industrial coatings and waterborne adhesives. These mostly anionic surfactants are highly efficient at concentrations of 0.5% to 2% and provide effective particle size control, improved stability with favorable regulatory profiles that are safe to use.

The Solvay Rhodasurf® range of APEO-Free ethoxylates are designed to improve stability performance of a wide range of polymer systems at the usage level of 0.5-3.0% (based on total monomers). The low-mid range ethoxylated Rhodasurf® products are also suitable for being used as wetting agents. Rhodasurf® nonionics are very effective and efficient. In most applications, these nonionics deliver significant performance improvement at a low usage level, such as:

Stability: mechanical, chemical, freeze thaw and pre-monomer emulsion
Wetting: pigment, substrates, etc.
Color acceptance
Less water sensitivity vs. the anionics
Less foaming tendency vs. the anionics

Mackol® CAS-100N is sodium coco-sulfate derived from natural coconut oil. In the needle form, the product is free flowing and disperses easily in water. Heat is required to fully dissolve the product. It provides good lather, thickening and conditioning properties. This product is also a replacement for betaines and alkanolamides in personal cleansing products. A unique, naturally derived anionic surfactant for the formulation of “natural type” personal cleansing products that is preservative-free.

Mackol® CAS-100N is sodium coco-sulfate derived from natural coconut oil. It is a surfactant for use in shampoo, body wash, and other personal care products. Because it is derived from coconut oil, it offers a gentler alternative to harsher sulfates including many of the betaines and alkanolamides used in personal cleansing products. A unique, naturally derived anionic surfactant for the formulation of “natural type” personal cleansing products that is preservative-free, it creates a lather that removes dirt, oil, and other impurities from skin and hair.
