MucoPro is Sonac’s new natural protein. It is concentrated hydrolyzed porcine mucosal tissue. In dedicated European slaughterhouses the mucosal tissue of pig intestines is separated from the outer lining. Through enzymatic hydrolysis, pharmaceutical heparin is produced from this mucosa. The hydrolyzed mucosa is processed in order to remove fat and insoluble parts. Subsequently, the product is desalinated (a proprietary process), gently concentrated and finally spray dried (powder) to create an usable and storable product.

MucoPro 80P is a second generation hydrolyzed porcine peptone product. It is produced from intestinal mucosal tissue that is collected from dedicated West European pig slaughterhouses. This mucosal tissue is enzymatically hydrolyzed in order to extract heparin, that is used in human medicine. In Sonac’s plant in Burgum (NL) the hydrolyzed mucosa undergoes further processing steps like separation, desalination, concentration and spray drying. For improvement of product handling the powder can be granulated (new). Our patented production process delivers a tasty and unique protein product lower in ash and high in free amino acids as well as in di- tri- and tetra peptides. The final result is a palatability enhancer that is easily digestible, easy to handle and hypo-allergeni

MUCOPRO 80P PURE GUTS POWER

Delfos is the product name for Sonac’s dicalciumphosphate-dihydrate (DCP.2H2O). It is produced from animal bones that have been crushed and degreased. This material is left during 5 days in a HCl solution to dissolve the gelatin and bone phosphate. Gelatin is separated and the remaining phosphate is carefully precipitated by addition of calcium hydroxide: here Delfos is created.

Sonac Hemoglobin Powder - Aqua is a high protein alternative for fish meal. Vegetable protein sources are widely available but the replacement of fish meal by those vegetable proteins is limited in some aquatic species. The main nutritional problems associated with higher utilization of vegetable protein sources are unbalanced amino acid profile, lower digestibility of amino acids, high fiber content, presence of anti-nutritional factors and low availability of Phosphorus. This is especially true for more carnivorous fish species or for aquatic species with a rudimentary digestive system such as larval fish, juveniles, and shrimp. In these diets, hemoglobin offers an excellent source of concentrated protein.

BP85 is derived from porcine origin collagen, as such derived from animals which have been declared fit for human consumption by ante- and post mortem inspection. BP85 is a functional protein with a high level of protein and a low content of fat. BP85 offers a water binding capacity of maximum 1:15. The 100 mesh particle size, unique in it’s sort, gives the protein also cold set binding properties and increases viscosity in water based solutions.

Sonac Proglobulin plasma proteins contribute to the reduction of antibiotics and the use of Zinc Oxide. Feeding plasma improves health (less diarrhea) and technical performance (Average Daily Feed Intake and Average Daily Gain). Sonac produces porcine plasma proteins under the brand name Proglobulin®. Proglobulin® is rich in immunoglobulins (IgG) and other bioactive proteins that have a role in the immune system.

ValoColl is a high functional porcine collagen that will enable users to boost quality and productivity and to lower cost price. Due to its high functionality the cost in use of ValoColl is very economical. ValoColl is an animal protein with excellent emulsifying properties, a strong gel forming capacity of 1:30, and stable product characteristics. It contains a high level of protein and a low content of fat. The protein has strong cold gelling properties, and it develops an even stronger reversible gel after heating and cooling.
