Southern Ionics

Founded in 1980, SII is built on the four cornerstones of service, quality, technology, and delivery. All of our facilities and our customer service center are QMS ISO 9001:2015 registered. Southern Ionics offers chemical products that meet NSF/ANSI 60 standards. Our strong service orientation, founded on rapid field response to customer needs, depends upon the right mix of advanced chemical technologies and applications. Research works effectively with sales and manufacturing to provide that mix. SII's commitment to R&D is evidenced in the operation of the Southern Ionics Research and Development Center, an 13,000 square foot complex of laboratories near company headquarters in West Point, Mississippi. This top-flight research facility has labs dedicated to basic research in surface science, colloidal science and inorganic chemistry as well as laboratories for applications research in paper, pigment, catalyst, and water treatment technology. Additionally, the research labs have bench scale and pilot plant capabilities to develop and evaluate products to meet emerging customer needs.
