Type HC™ card clad is a high density cladding applied as a surface layer of one eighth to one quarter inch thick. The formulation cures to form a tough polymer modified vermiculite and Portland cement of 60 pound per cubic foot density. It’s strength and toughness upgrades the surface properties of standard density, medium density or high density fireproofing.
