SPAK AY-50

Functions:Surfactant (Anionic), Surfactant

Spak AY-50 is specially recommended in formulations containing Sodium Sulfate. The commonly used surfactant of the same family e.g. Sodium Dioctyl Sulphosuccinate exhibits poor performance in presence of sodium sulfate. For example, 0.02% Spak AY-50 will reduce surface tension of 15% sodium sulfate solution to 26 dyne/cm where as sodium dioctyl sulphosuccinate will be salted out under these conditions. Similarly Spak AY-50 shows better tolerance to Ca ions than Sodium Dioctyl Sulphosuccinate.

Spak Orgochem IZH-300: Coco Amido Propyl Amine Oxide

IZH-300 being mildly cationic at a lower than neutral pH, confers a superior conditioning effect and acts as a viscosity builder, especially in low pH shampoos and other liquid detergents. As a foam booster and stabilizer in shampoos, bubble baths and other toiletries.

Spak Orgochem Ethylene Glycol monostearate (EGMS)

Spak orgochem offers Ethylene Glycol monostearate (EGMS) and widely used in personal care industry. They are white in color and are designed to offer very good pearlescence to formulations.

Spak Orgochem Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate (DOSS) OT-50

Functions:Surfactant (Anionic), Surfactant, Wetting Agent

Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate (DOSS)), a surface-active agent, is well known for its superior wetting power. Its use as a wetting agent in industries like textiles, leather and pulp and paper is well known. It is also used in pharmaceutical, emulsion polymerization, electroplating, paints and printing inks. Specialties such as antifog formulations, automotive radiator cleaners, battery separators, coal dust suppressant, glass cleaners rust preventives, wallpaper removers contain DOSS as a surfactant. It is useful in germicidal preparations using pine oil or phenol where it increases the activity of pine oil/phenol. Spak uses only 2-Ethyl Hexanol to make all its DOSS range. The product made with Iso Octanol is not as effective.

Spak Orgochem PHOSPHORIC ACID PLANT SPAK- 61

Functions:Anti-Foaming Agent

Spak 61 is blend of an antifoamer and a defoamer. By antifoam we mean a product that prevents foam forming/stabilizing tendency and by defoamer we mean a product that kills the foam already formed. Spak 61 is a specially formulated product for Hemi-Dihydrate process operating at higher temperatures. It is better suited for higher temperature at 95-100°C. Spak 61 is equally useful in Dihydrate process.

Spak Orgochem IZH-90: COCODIETHANOLAMIDE (CDEA)

INCI Name:Coco Diethanolamide
Functions:Surfactant (Nonionic), Surfactant

IZA-90 is based on 1:1 molar reaction of selected coco chain fatty acid/ester with dietanolamine. It contains low concentration of unreacted diethanolamine and practically no fatty acid soap. It has a high percentage of amide and is predominantly nonionic in character. Thus due to its high amide content and purity it is classified as a “Superamide” as distinguished from the “Kritchevsky” type amine condensate.
