Key Advantages

Macroelements supply
Qrop® KS is the most concentrated source providing at the same time both nitrogen and potassium, which are two elements with key functions in terms of yield and quality of vegetables, fruits, nuts and grains. Potassium in particular increases the sugar contents as well as the shelf-life of fruits and vegetables.

Rapid action

Qrop® KS is the potassium source with the fastest action, accompanied by nitrate nitrogen, immediate availability for the plant. It is indispensable during the stages of maximum demand by the crops, for example during the growth stage of fruits. Wide compatibility This product can be mixed with virtually any straight fertilizer applied in agriculture.

Does not acidify the soils

Because of its characteristic to supply the soil directly with nitrate nitrogen, the reactions that release protons and acidify the soil do not take place, as is the case with ammonium. Moreover, while the plant absorbs the nitrate, it releases OH anions in the environment, counteracting the effect of other acidifying sources.

Wide applications

Due to the nutrient it supplies and due to its low salinity, Qrop® KS can be applied to a wide range of crops and during each growth stage. Among the many crops, we cite potato, tomato, pepper, melon, watermelon, flowers, tree fruits (apple, grapevine, stone fruits, kiwi, avocado, citrus), maize, wheat, nut crops, tobacco, etc.

Nutritional absorption synergy

More than 80% of the nitrogen consumed by plants is nitrate, the preferred nitrogen source of plants. It promotes the absorption of important cations such as K*, Ca** and Mg**. There are no losses as a result of volatilization, and it doesn’t get adsorbed to the clays or the organic matter of the soil.

Usage Suggestions

Qrop® KS can be directly applied to the soil during any growth stage of the crop. Due to its characteristics and the nutrients it provides, Qrop® KS is an indispensable source during filling of fruits, vegetables, tubers, nuts and grains. Thanks to its high concentration and rapid availability for the plant, an appropriate application ensures optimal yield, high quality and excellent caliber. Also, due to improved shelf-life, commercialization of crops is facilitated.
