Ultrasol® Starter is used for setting tobacco transplants, sweet potato and other vegetable transplants, newly-set cuttings, and tree and shrub transplanting. Provides extra water soluble phosphorous to help stimulate root development.Excellent whenever tissue tests indicate the need for extra phosphate. No added micro-nutrients. If minor elements needed use Premium 9.45-15.

Application Technique

Excellent for transplant starter solutions.


Transplanting

  • For most crops, use 4 to 6 lbs per 100 gallons of water. Use 200 to 300 gallons per acre for transplanting.

 

Soil Drench for Seeded Crops

  • Use 1/4 b. in 100 gallons of water. Apply the solution in the seed row. Use 1/2 pint per every 2 ft. of row. Cover with soil.

 

Foliar Application:

  • Apply 3 to 10 lbs. per acre as a foliar application to supplement normal soil applied fertility program. Can be applied by aircraft at rates as low as 3 lbs. per 2 gallons of water, per acre.
  • Tomatoes, peppers, melons, squash: Begin using 3- 10 lbs. per acre when plants 3 - 4 weeks old until first picking. Apply every 7-10 days.
  • Potatoes: 3 to 10 lbs. per acre, every 7-10 days.
  • Cotton: (Early Season) Apply foliar spray on 10" to 16" band for four applications. First two applications are at 2 lbs. per acre on 10" band. Third and fourth applications are 16" band with 2 to 3 lbs. per acre. Repeat every 7 to 10 days.
  • Trees: For fruit, nut and other trees use 4 to 5 lbs in 100 gallons of water or 2 tablespoons per gallon. Pour 1 gallon of solution around each tree when planting.
