SSB® AQUAGOLD is an aqueous solution of an ammonium shellac salt without preservatives. Due to a special production process, a shelf life of 12 month can be guaranteed for SSB® AQUAGOLD in the original unopened packaging. SSB® 57 Pharma Flake Shellac, a high quality dewaxed orange shellac refined by the SSB Solvent Extraction Process, is the main ingredient. SSB® AQUAGOLD can be used as supplied or diluted with demineralised water. It can also be formulated with other polymers, additives or coloring agents. SSB® AQUAGOLD is suitable for coating applications (Pharma and Food) in perforated pans or fluid bed coaters or microencapsulation. Each batch is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (SSB), a Material Safety Data Sheet (SSB) and a Microbiological Examination of Non Sterile Products according to the current pharmacopeias (Ph.Eur. and USP).
