Applications

SmokeShield® ZB4-XFA is an effective smoke suppressant in halogenated polymers, particularly PVC, acting in the condensed phase as a charformer. It also acts as a flame retardant synergist and a partial replacement of antimony oxide in many thermoplastic and thermoset applications.
