With a white powder form, this additive is compatible with various polymers including ABS, HIPS, PET, polyolefins, LDPE, PBT, PC, polyamides, PP, TPE, and PC/ABS Alloy. BroShield® 245 is a flame-retardant polymer additive suitable for plastics and elastomers. This brominated powder contributes flame retardancy and non-blooming properties, while also providing good thermal stability and UV stability. It is compatible with materials like ABS, HIPS, PBT, PC, and PC/ABS Alloy. The chemical name is 2,4,6-Tris-(2,4,6-tribromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine.
