- key Benefits
• Tin and TDI free
• Film forming and very flexible with low tackiness. Non blocking films even at high temperatures
• Soluble in alcohol rich mixtures and fully compatible with alcohol soluble nitrocellulose
• Good adhesion on aluminum foil
• Forms films with fast solvent release. Solvent retention values are substantially lower than those of convencional inks
• When properly formulated, inks show excellent adhesion and lamination bond strengths
Applications & Uses
- Markets
- Applications
• Flexo and gravure inks with excellent press behavior for printing on common flexible packaging films like polyolefins, PET,
aluminum foil and metallized films
• Blending with hard resins may be required to eliminate residual tackiness. Minimize the use of nitrocellulose just to the necessary
amount to eliminate residual tackiness and ensure adhesion, lamination bond strengths and low solvent retencion
• Adhesion promoters are recommended when printing on polyolefin films. On PET is not required
