Storage & Handling
- Storage & Handling
- Safety precautions: Gloves and safety goggles or a face shield, if splashing may occur, should be employed when handling STEOL TSP-16N. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands thoroughly after handling materials.
- Bulk storage information: Elevated temperature may be desirable to maintain ease of pumping, but product should be stored long-term at ambient temperature. STEOL TSP-16N that has been stored in drums at temperatures below 42°F (6°C) may thicken or solidify. Product may be fluidized by warming with a drum heater or in a steam room. Drums should be vented prior to heating to avoid excessive pressure build up. Product temperatures over 130°F (54°C) are not recommended. Store product dry. Avoid introduction of moisture to drum.
- Workplace Exposure
Occupational exposure can occur primarily through skin contact or via inhalation of vapors and mists. Engineering controls, personal protective equipment, and other workplace safety practices should be used to control these exposures. See SDS for more information.
