- STEPAN-MILD BSB provides improved mildness without sacrificing performance attributes. Its low irritation properties make it useful for mild cleansing products. It can be used for children and baby products as well as for adult products where sensitive skin is involved.
- STEPAN-MILD BSB is a concentrated mild blend that can be readily formulated into baby shampoos, bubble baths and liquid hand soaps. Just add water, preservative, dye, and fragrance. See back side for an easy-to-make baby shampoo formulation.

Clinical studies have shown STEPAN-MILD BSB to be comparable to “no tears” commercial products and therefore it is judged to be safe for use near the eye areas of customers.

- STEPAN-MILD BSB is a concentrated surface active agent. Normal safety precautions (i.e. the use of gloves and eye goggles) should be employed when using this product. Prolonged contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling material.
- It is recommended that STEPAN-MILD BSB be stored in sealed containers and kept at temperatures above 45°F (7°C), but not above 110°F (43.3°C). Avoid overheating or freezing. If material is frozen, mild heat and agitation are recommended to ensure the material is homogeneous before use.
- Workplace Exposure
Occupational exposure can occur primarily through skin contact or via inhalation of vapors and mists. Engineering controls, personal protective equipment, and other workplace practices should be used to control these exposures.
