STEPGROW 90 is a concentrated, nonylphenol ethoxylate-free, nonionic surfactant system designed to boost the performance of the pesticide by facilitating penetration into the target pest. When added to the spray solution, STEPGROW 90 has excellent spreading properties improve coverage of the leaf surface.

  • The international inventories country clearances of STEPGROW 90, can be found in Section 15 of the Safety Data Sheet (SDS). It is the responsibility of the formulator to review the chemical control regulations for each country where the end product is intended to be sold or used.
  • STEPGROW 90 is exempt from the requirement of a tolerance under U.S. EPA 40 CFR 180.910, 180.930, and 180.940a. These CFR sections should be consulted for the complete context before any conclusion is made as to the allowed regulated use.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling
  • Normal safety precautions (e.g., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPGROW 90. Contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin should be avoided. Wash hands thoroughly after handling materials. See SDS for more information.
  • Bulk Storage Information: It is recommended that STEPGROW 90 be stored in stainless steel and glass fiber-reinforced polyester tanks. Many oven-cured phenolic and epoxy/phenolic linings may also be used. Storage temperatures above 90°F (32°C) are desirable to maintain ease of pumping. Temperatures up to 130°F (54°C) can be maintained for two years without degradation of the product.
Workplace Exposure

Occupational exposure can occur primarily through skin contact or via inhalation of vapors and mists. Engineering controls, personal protective equipment, and other workplace safety practices should be used to control these exposures. See SDS for more information.
