Storage and Handling Conditions
  • Non-Bulk Storage Recommendations: STEPGROW® AB 1015 should be stored in closed containers and kept in a cool, dry place away from incompatible materials (see Section 10 of the SDS). Product stored in drums at temperatures below 0°C (32°F) may thicken. Product storage in drums may be fluidized by warming with a drum heater or in a steam room. Drums should be vented prior to heating to avoid excessive pressure build up. Product temperatures over 38°C (100°F) are not recommended.
  • Bulk Storage Recommendations: STEPGROW® AB 1015 should be stored in vessels of 316 stainless steel. Heating and agitation are recommended for outside storage. Material should be stored between 20 - 38°C (68 - 100°F). An internal hairpin coil of 316 stainless steel with low pressure steam (under 50 psig) should be used if heating is required. Pumps, pipes and transfer lines should be 316 stainless steel.
