Ready Sauces are composed by a base of fine crushed tomato with the addition of different types of spices according to specific customer requirements. It is perfect for the preparation of first courses as they are already spiced and therefore ready for immediate use. Tomato pulp is obtained after blanching, extruding and dripping fresh tomatoes.

Versatility is the key word of our crushed tomatoes. The variety of ready sauces and bases for pizza and pasta, combine the versatility of a product ready-to-use with the freshness of our crushed tomatoes (also called ground tomatoes). In addition to our standard recipes in set, we offer our customers the opportunity to create their ready-to-use base, customizing the recipe on the basis of their own needs.

Main Characteristics Of The Product

Product prepared with non-whole tomatoes of any shape not deprived of the skin, grown in compliance with the integrated production regulations of the EMILIA ROMAGNA region, without the use of genetically modified seeds, obtained by pressing and partial elimination of the constitution water, so that the dry residue is between 12 and 14%.

  • Steriltom products are available in 2.5 kg, 3 kg and 4.1 kg can and in bag in box.
Filling
  • In aseptic, in a multilayer bag in flexible laminate of large format of 200, 850 and 1000 liters, and medium format of 5 and 10 liters in bags.
Packaging

The multilayer bags are contained in rigid packaging consisting of:

  • Truncated conical metal drums with a weight of about 210 kgs, stored in n. of 4 per pallet;
  • Europack with the weight of about 850 kgs, stored in number n. of 1 per pallet.
  • Combo with the weight of about 1000 kgs, stored in n. of 1 per pallet.
Labeling
  • Traceability label attached externally for large format packaging.
  • Inkjet printed lot for medium size bags (5-10 kg).

Microbial Stability

Product subjected to evaporation and sterilization at high temperature, able to maintain commercial stability until expiration in unopened packaging stored at room temperature. Stable after incubation at 32 ° C for 14 days, without development of gas or alteration of pH and / or organoleptic characteristics.

Storage Conditions and Shelf Life
  • Room temperature.
  • Once the package has been opened, keep cool, at temperatures no higher than 4 ° C, and consume within 2 or 3 days.
  • Shelf Life is 24 months at the end of the month for the large format, 36 months exact day of production for the medium format in storage conditions.
