In answer to a demand in the printing market for faster and higher productivity Sterling Color has developed the 390G range of fluorescent offset inks. The 390G Series inks offer high color strength, minimal waste through rapid color achievement, excellent dot reproduction, stable printing, good drying and excellent rub resistance. Printing and finishing has to be fast, trouble-free and reliable. From an environmental concern 390G Series inks are vegetable oil based and do not use mineral oils.

The 390G Series inks can be use on a vast variety of substrates. Excellent results have been achieved on coated paper, uncoated paper and board. These inks were not developed for cast coated paper, synthetics, films and foils. In such substrates a test is mandatory and the print result cannot be guaranteed.

Print Finishing

The 390G Series inks contain a carefully balanced amount of wax to achieve optimum rub resistance. The type of wax was selected to have as little influence as possible on post finishing adhesion however the final result mainly depend on the coating/lamination/varnish type used. We recommend testing the suitability prior each production run

Safety & Health

Health and Safety

390G Series inks are vegetable oil based and do not use mineral oils. The compositions of the inks meet current REACH requirements and conform to EUPIA guidelines. A safety data sheet is available on request. Some inks are classified “H412: Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.” As a general rule we advise to avoid release to the environment and to dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.

The 390G Series inks are packaged in 1.0kg vacuum pack tins and are supplied in cartons of 12 x 1.0kg tins

The shelf life is 2 year after production date.
