Carnauba Wax is obtained from the leaves of the Brazilian palm tree known as ‘Copernica Cerifera’, also referred to as the "Tree of Life". The Carnauba palm flourishes in northeastern regions within Brazil, and proliferates naturally along riverbanks, streams and damp low-lands.The tree exudes wax through the petioles of its fan-shaped leaves, which prevents dehydration in the equatorial climate. The palm leaves, harvested in the dry months occurring from August through December, are sun-dried and mechanically thrashed to separate the wax from the leaf. The color and quality of the wax are governed by the age of the leaves and care used in processing.

Laurel Wax Obtained from the fruit of the Myrica pubescens and commonly known as Laurel Wax. Recommended in creams, lotions, and stick formulations where a soft, smooth skin after-feel is desired. In formulation Laurel Wax exhibits a glossy, creamy, and textured appearance, with a luxurious feel.

Microcrystalline Waxes are produced in a variety of melt points, colors, and penetration values. They will add a sensorial benefit to a formulation while improving oil retention.

Ozokerite Wax will increase viscosity, assist in emulsion stability and enhance gel strength in liquid and solid systems. Generally a hard wax with a relatively high melt point, these characteristics warrant its use in lipsticks, lip care products, and others to promote structure and stick strength.
