Liocryl AS 640 is suitable for the formulation of fast drying aqueous 2-pack top coats with high
gloss und good chemical resistance. The emulsion requires the addition of coalescents ( e.g.
6% butylglycol) for proper film formation The emulsion film can have a slightly structured
surface. This phenomenon does not however appear in formulated coatings, i. e. the properties
of the coatings (e. g. gloss or transparency) are not adversely affected.
The emulsion is preserved for storage. It is solvent-free and plasticiser-free and contains no
free formaldehyde or formaldehyde-releasing products. Liocryl AS 640 contains no alkylphenol
ethoxylates (APEO’s)

Storage & Handling
- Storage
The emulsion should be stored in tightly closed, corrosion-resistant containers, protected from
frost and away from direct sunlight, at +5 to +25°C .
