After air-drying, film coatings based on LIOPUR PFL 2315 form transparent films which are
tack-free and exhibit good surface hardness.
Films based on LIOPUR PFL 2315 are distinguished by high toughness and resilience and tear
strength. Owing to its very high abrasion resistance and its excellent chemical resistance,
LIOPUR PFL 2315 can be used in combination with water-emulsifiable polyisocyanates for airdrying,
aqueous, 2-pack parquet floor varnishes. Compared with other 2-pack dispersions,
LIOPUR PFL 2315 is distinguished by good grain enhancement of the wood for waterthinnable
formulations.
LIOPUR PFL2315 contains NCO-reactive groups, so that a binder/hardener ratio of 100 : 10
can be recommended on the basis of our applicational tests.
Two-pack formulations based on LIOPUR PFL 2315 and polyisocyanates which have been
made water-miscible are distinguished by simple manual incorporation of the hardener
component into the base paint, so that these formulations are also suitable for DIY applications.
