Uses

After air-drying coatings based on Liopur PFL 3526 and suitable amount of butylglycole form transparent films which are tack-free and display good surface resistance, high flexibility and elasticity.
Coatings based on Liopur PFL 3526 exhibit excellent flame protection properties.
Liopur PFL 3526 is showing a good wet and dry appearance on wood. One and especially two component coatings based on Liopur PFL 3526 in combination with water dilutable polyisocyanates are resulting in transparent film surfaces that fulfill flame retarding test DIN 4102 part B. Therefore no additional usage of external flame retarding agents is necessary.
For 1C and especially 2C wood lacquers we will recommend the combination of Liopur PFL 3526 with Liocryl Acrylic emulsions like XAM 2827 / XAM 2714 or AM 921 for the topcoat in order to improve chemical resistance.
We recommend the pH adjustment of paint formulation to pH value of appr 7-8 to get an optimal film surface transparency.
Liopur PFL 3526 does not contain any halogen compounds or inorganic ingredients.
