SYNTHALAT-A 597 gives good results as the sole binder for the manufacture of primers for
problem substrates such as zinc. Unlike most other physically drying binders it does not require
the addtion of any plasticizers.

SYNTHALAT-A 597, a thermoplastic Acrylic resin, has an excellent pigment wetting and a high
pigment loading.- Solubility/ Dilutability
SYNTHALAT-A 597 can be diluted in any proportion with aromatic solvents, esters, ketones,
glycol ethers and their esters as well as with chlorinated hydrocarbons.- Compatibility
SYNTHALAT-A 597 is compatible with nitrocellulose, various PVC copolymers an chlorinated
polymers.
