Synthalat PWM 883/45% is suitable as sole binder for fast drying waterbased industrial lacquers
with reduced amount of dryers. Films based on Synthalat PWM 883/45% show very high
Pendulum hardness (in comparison to conventional alkyd emulsions) and good scratchresistance.
Lacquers based on Synthalat PWM 883/45% show also a early water resistance and a good
chemical resistance against petrol and synthetic fuels.
Synthalat PWM 883/45% is also recommended for VOC conforming do-it-yourself lacquers. Due
to the good drying behavior of PMW 883/45% it is possible to reduce dryers like iron dryer
Oxycoat 1101 and Manganese dryer DriCoat 2705 FW to a minimum content in these paint
formulation.
Synthalat PWM 883/45% can be combined with medium-oil alkyd emulsions like Synthalat
PWM 1394 for glossy, VOC-conforming decorative paints.
