- Sensitive and irritated skin is one of the most-difficult types of skin to care for. It is prone to drying out, and is delicate and susceptible to allergies. Contact with external factors (water, sun, mechanical treatments) creates an unpleasant feeling of burning, itching, and reddening. This hypersensitivity is usually associated with higher permeability of the skin combined with microcirculation disturbances.
- Additional protection for irritated and dry skin is provided by the lipid-carrier coating, being compatible with the constituents of the skin’s lipid coat. The carrier transports active substances to the deeper layers of the skin, where they activate fibroblast proliferation, thus contributing to faster wound healing, and also reducing TEWL. The encapsulation of urea in the carrier has also significantly improved its stability, which translates into easier incorporation into cosmetic recipes and a reduction in irritation potential resulting from the formation of the decomposition products of free urea. Thanks to VECTICELL® SENSITIVE, the skin becomes hydrated, soothed, and more resistant to external factors.
