Anti-inflammatory potential properties
CelluOil™ Lavender exhibits potential anti-inflammatory properties for the skin.
Figure: IL1A (gene) - RHE (24h)
CelluOil™ Lavender reduce the IL1A expression by 25% (from 80 to 60). The effect of CelluOil™ Lavender on Interleukin 1 alpha (IL1A) gene expression levels after LPS-induced inflammation in Reconstructed Human Epidermis (RHE).
Oil retention
By using our microencapsulating technology, CelluOil™ Lavender preserves the essential oil’s odor and freshness in both raw and formulated forms. Compared to free oil, the encapsulated essential oil does not evaporate over time.
Retention of Lavender oil in its encapsulated form, CelluOil™ Lavender microcapsules (green bar), compared to free Lavender EO (Red bar) following storage at 75°C for 57 h. Data is presented as mean % of initial weight (n = 5).
