In a third party clinical study, 19 subjects applied a formula with 5% CelluCapTM Licorice, twice daily for 56 days. A Bio Blue Light Scanner was used to evaluate the presence of dark spots, including total area of dark spots, total number of dark spots, the contrast between normal skin and dark spots, and lastly, skin uniformity.
Results showed that within 28 days of treatment, CelluCapTM Licorice significantly reduced the total area of dark spots, and skin contrast by 6.2% and 13.7%, respectively. In the same way, the treatment significantly increased skin uniformity by 13.7%.
At the end of 56 days, CelluCapTM Licorice significantly displays whitening and anti-dark spots effects by reducing total area, total number and contrast of the dark spots up to 13%, 12% and 26%, respectively, after 2 months of application. The treatment significantly increases skin uniformity up to 26%.
