Tannin Corporation

Tannin Corporation was founded in 1944 to manufacture and distribute leather chemicals to the large concentration of tanners in the New England area of the United States. The current ownership was established in 1979 with its headquarters in Peabody, Massachusetts, USA, 18 miles north of Boston. The company has grown to become the largest wet-end chemical supplier in North America, serving the United States and Canada, with a subsidiary company in Mexico, Tannin Mexico S.A. de C.V. The company acquired Marden-Wild of Canada in 2006 along with its state-of-the-art manufacturing and production facility of a select group of products in Asia. The product line has expanded to include a range of finish oils and waxes added to the already comprehensive line of wet-end fatliquors, fillers, resins, and waxes.
