Spray ECP 539 directly onto the surface of the material holding the container approximately 200mm to 250mm from the article. Spray with a quick sweeping motion. It is not necessary nor is it recommended to saturate the surface. A light spray in most cases will eliminate the charge. Some materials may appear to darken but will return to their original color upon drying. Drying time will depend upon the material and quantity of ECP 539 sprayed, but if the general guidelines have been followed then this should be no more than 3 to 4 minutes. The ambient temperatures will also affect this timing also.
