About Us

"Limited Liability Company “Technobasalt-Invest” was founded in 2004. Manufacturing facilities are located in Slavuta, Ukraine. The heart of the production is high-tech furnaces with platinum-rhodium feeders. The main products manufactured by Technobasalt-Invest are basalt roving, fiber and rebar. Technobasalt-Invest, LLC own the registered trademark Technobasalt, under which all the company’s products are promoted. The geography of Technobasalt® reinforcing materials supplies covers the entire globe, since the products can be used in the most demanding projects. For example, the products of Technobasalt Invest were used in the complex overhaul repairs of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Florida (USA), and in Hungary during the reconstruction of a radioactive repository."

Technobasalt® Roving

Technobasalt® Roving is a bundle of continuous unidirectional complex basalt fibers. Roving has high natural strength, resistance to aggressive environments, long service life and excellent electrical insulation properties. In terms of its technical characteristics, basalt roving surpasses S-glass and E-glass in many respects, and is not much inferior to carbon. Basalt roving is extremely heat-resistant: the temperature range for long-term use is from –260°C to +680°C. It can withstand temperatures up to 1000 °C for a short time.

Technobasalt® Basalt Rebar ANPB is a rod with continuous spiral ribbing, formed by winding it with a basalt yarn moistened with a high-strength polymer compound. It is a promising composite material with a wide range of applications in construction.Basalt rebar is resistant to corrosion and aggressive chemical compounds, is unusually light and durable. The research results showed that the durability of building structures with basalt reinforcement significantly exceeds the service life of similar structures made of other materials.
