Telene® 1810 A/B

1 of 9 products in this brand
Telene® 1810 A/B technology utilizes ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP). Formulations are based on dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) and engineered to produce polydicyclopentadiene polymer (PDCPD), well-known for its robust mechanical properties at low temperatures, its low water absorption, and its radio transparency. This system has been designed to produce machine cast parts.

Polymer Name: Polydicyclopentadiene (PDCPD)

Processing Methods: Injection Molding, Reaction Injection Molding (RIM)

End Uses: Automotive Bumpers, Automotive Exterior Parts, Automotive Under The Hood, Engine Covers, Fenders

Storage & Handling

Shelf life and Storage

Keep between 10ºC and 30ºC in a dry place. Maximum shelf life: 3 months in unopened sealed drums. Once opened, Telene 1810 drums should be kept under nitrogen blanket with slight overpressure in order to prevent nitrogen dissolution. Avoid permanent nitrogen circulation.
