the leaves are closed.Fertrell Liquid #3 can be used effectively as a foliar fertilizer supplement: when sprayed on young crops to promote strong early growth, to restore vitality to crops damaged by use of herbicides and to provide supplemental nutrition at the time of budding, pod formation and fruiting. Also, it may be added to irrigation water or as a supplement in any type of liquid fertilizer system.
Rate Of Dilution: Fertrell Liquid #3 should be diluted with any convenient amount of water that suits the spray equipment. For example, it may be diluted at the rate of 2-3 quarts of concentrate to 5 to 20 gallons of water.
Rate Of Application: Fertrell Liquid #3 should be used on field crops at the rate of 2-3 quarts of concentrate per acre per application, For tree fruits, nuts, berries and other high value crops, use 3 quarts of Fertrell Liquid #3 per acre, diluted as described above. For best efficiency when used as a foliar fertilizer, apply in the morning and evening hours when the leaves are receptive to foliar feeding. Do not apply during the heat of the day when the pores of the leaves are closed. Apply as a fine mist from either ground rigs, aerial sprayers or overhead irrigation systems. Spray evenly on the foliage. Use a good non-ionic surfactant (spreader-sticker). This product is filtered to assure against clogging of spray nozzles. It will not burn when used according to directions.
