The Hanson Group

The Hanson Group UV-944 is a low-dust, polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) who provides superb light stability to many polymers and, in addition, gives long-term heat stability to polymers by radical trapping mechanism similar to that of hinder phenol. HXA UV-944’s effectiveness combined with its low volatility and low extractability makes itself the most widely used HALS commercially available.

Chiguard® 380W HXA UV2900 is a highly efficient and non-staining UV absorber, covering both of UV-B and UV-C regions up to 400 nm. It is based on benzoxaxinone structure which delivers a shortterm heat stability up to 350 °C and a long term heat stability up to 160 °C. By a proprietary process, Chiguard® 380W is made to dissolve quickly in PET resin and to give a transparent appearance even with high dosage (as demonstrated in the Comparative Data Section below).

Chiguard® UV-234 belongs to the family of substituted benzotriazoles which protect against ultraviolet radiation. Compared to other Chitec’s UV absorbers, Chiguard® 234 has lowest volatility which makes it especially useful for those applications involving high temperature processing.

The Hanson Group UV-622 is a low-dust, polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer who provides outstanding light stability to many polymers and, in addition, gives long-term heat stability to polymers by radical trapping mechanism similar to that of hinder phenol. UV-622 produces virtually no effect on initial substrate color.

The Hanson Group UV-770 acts as hindered amine light stabilizer. Bis(2,2,6,6,-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) decanedioate. It provides outstanding light stability to many polymers and, in addition, gives long-term heat stability to polymers by radical trapping mechanism similar to that of hinder phenol. HXA UV-770 effectiveness is independent of the polymer’s thickness, in contrast to UV absorbers. It can be incorporated in monomer before polymerization, often with improvement of resin quality.

The Hanson Group HXA CE 425 is designed as a slow reacting, liquid chain extender for polyurea, polyurethane, and hybrid coatings and elastomer systems. Typical use levels are less than similar to other aliphatic secondary amines available today. This means longer gel times for less money. Try it and see the difference!.
